Policy Points: Alaska

The role of government is huge in Alaska and, perhaps, more than any other state. We have more government spending in Alaska in many areas on a per capita basis yet we are losing population and the promise of a shared future of growth. The resources of Alaska are not ours alone but represent the hope of the nation and should be considered in light of the fact that we are the national treasury in our natural resource base.
